And in today's episode, we're gonna talk about education. Over the last decade or so, the cost to be able to attend college and be able to get a higher education has skyrocketed. In fact, many parents and students are concerned about the long-term debt that might be incurred as a result of attending college. That's why we reached out to some college financial planning specialists who claim to have a college crystal ball. Campus Advisers says they have a secret proprietary formula that helps parents and students project their true college expenses and they're able to help parents and students secure financial aid to help them attend the schools of their choice. That's why we're excited to introduce to today's episode of Social News Interviews, none other than Lisa Hullinger. Lisa, welcome to today's episode. Lisa: Thank you ERock. ERock:Well, Lisa, tell us a little bit more about Campus Advisers' college crystal ball. You're claiming to have a secret formula or a special formula to help parents and students project true college expenses and help them to secure financial aid and help them to attend the schools of their choice. Can you tell us a little bit more about what you're doing? The crystal ball and your formula? Lisa: Absolutely. With our in-state schools at 30,000 and highly selective private schools tipping the scale at $70,000 a year, we find that families at all income levels can really use help understanding the college financial process. So we have developed a program called Know Your Score. And Know Your Score is, in essence, it is a student's admittance qualifiers. We call it their AQ, admissions quotient. And that is made up of their GPA, their ACT, their SAT, their rankings, their talents, all of those things that make up a student. And so it's something that we use internally as well as looking at the family's unique financial dynamics because for every family it's a little bit different. We bring those two pieces together so that the student's wants and needs really fit the family's financial dynamics. So that a family, together, can make a good choice. Not for just the one student in their household, but for all of the students in their household for all of the years of college. And we really find that when families have a plan and they know what to expect, this process is much more, it's fun.
