Dr.Brown: Well, I think the most important thing is to understand yourself. To know you, and your personality, your interests, your strengths, and your needs. Because it's only when you know that that you know what you're looking for in a relationship and you know what to ask for. And I think the second thing is to pay special attention to your relationship needs. This is something that's often hidden from your partner and sometimes it's hidden from yourself. But when you get in touch with that and you know what you need from your partner and can ask for that, it can help to mitigate a lot of stress. And the third thing is to recognize that we are all different. There is gonna be no perfect partner. Your partner is always gonna be different than you. And understanding that, and understanding what you can do with it, crafting your own rules for fighting fair from the very beginning, can be a real big tool to creating a harmonious relationship going forward.
